In my experience as a teacher as well as a student, I have observed that the best method for learning is taking notes while in the class.
As a teacher I try to explain each and every aspect of a particular topic in my class and expect my students to take notes. Even if it may seem old fashioned at times, I do believe that this method has distinct advantages over providing printed notes.
- When a student listens and writes down in its copy the understanding is better
- It is easier to remember and recall what we listen and write ourselves
- A kind of picture map is created in this process which sustains in our mind
- Every student is unique in its understanding and only it can know what is best for itself.
Hence in my humble opinion I always prefer this method of teaching. I do advise my students to add anything in their copy which they find relevant when they read through NCERT books.
It is best for a student to have a NOTES COPY which it can rely upon completely near examinations.
Thanks for the interest
Happy learning 😊
