Well there is no single best strategy to achieve academic excellence for every student.
- Every student is unique in it’s learning ability and style.
- Some students find it useful to keep scribbling something on a paper by the side to give them confidence while revising.
- some others are amazingly talented to learn anything just by reading through it.
- Both methods succeed and I can say it with full responsibility.
So choose your method according to your taste and liking and success is bound to happen as long as one takes care of another ingredient.
That single most important factor for success in my opinion is PERSEVERANCE.
Trust your judgment and ability. choose any method to study and keep working.
In my opinion sincere dedicated effort is certain to bring rewards.

indeed your strategies are worthy sir..but i believe it would be of great help if you can post strategy to solve numericals citing any example because student like me are not so good in solving numericals…

i would like to give my opinion as a keen learner that:
1) never try to cram topics always have a better understanding of the same. craming will always smash things during exams. igf u clearly visualize blueprint of exam this cram or ratna section consist of 2-3 questions maximum, majority part is application, understanding, evaluation HOTS. above all better understanding of topics will only allow you to clear competitive exams which judge student’s basic understanding of the topic by twisting the questions only.
2) Smart learning is key to success.
3) Try to learn by writing as much as you can
4) practice as much as questions you can till you Brain says i am fully charged with the the topic.
5) Never leaves Diagrams. its in trend either to draw or to answer questions on the basis of diagram. in Science its diagram which itself speaks a lot. you can learn various topics only with the help of diagrams.
6) Take self test.
7) Management of time is essential. during stress of exam it sometimes reduces our speed. so while taking self test you groom yourself for time management also.
8) divide your syllabus into sections. try to make hold on your best part of the subject which will sure shot give you 100%.
9) top of all don’t let any query to take a seat in your brain, ask simplest of your doubts from your teacher.
